Hello, please make sure that your hardware configuration meets the minimum requirements to run D5. Please note: D5 only supports Windows system for now and MacOS system is yet to be supported. Additionally, D5 only supports Discrete Graphics Card (GPU), not integrated graphics Card (GPU).
For specific system requirements, please refer to:
System Requirements for D5 Render | User Manual
If you encounter these situations:
- The graphics card does not meet the requirements to run D5.
In the System Info, the 'Graphics Card' and 'Driver Version' columns are showing as 'Unknown'. This typically indicates that your current graphics card may not be fully compatible with D5 Render. Upgrading to a supported graphics card is recommended for optimal performance.
- The driver version is too low/out-of-date
In your System Info interface, the Driver Version column not having a grey fill suggests a problem with your current driver. Updating your graphics card driver to at least version 527.27 is necessary for D5 Render to function normally.
Please refer to: How to view and upgrade graphics card driver? | User Manual
- Special Circumstances:
- If you have two graphics cards in your device, one of which is a discrete graphics card supported by D5, but D5 only recognizes the other unsupported graphics card. Please try to disable the other integrated graphics card in ‘Device Manager’ to check the result.
- If your graphics card is supported by D5, but still displays ‘Unknown Graphics Card’. Please download and run Benchmark Tool to check the result: Benchmark Result. If it displays the data normally, your graphics card may have errors that prevent it from being recognized. Please check if the graphics card is installed correctly and re-insert it.
