Hello, the Terrain feature was newly introduced in version 2.9. D5 allows you to create terrain directly using the brush tool for sculpting and texture painting. With just one click, you can easily apply a variety of preset heightmaps and material templates. Combine this with D5 Scatter to effortlessly craft diverse natural landscapes.
For more details, please refer to: How to use Terrain? | User Manual
Note:
Starting from version 2.9, terrain is included by default in the object list of newly created scenes. When opening projects created in earlier versions, you will need to manually add terrain if you wish to use it.
To manage terrain: Select ‘Terrain’ in the object list at the bottom left. Right-click to delete it, or click the Hide button to temporarily hide it.
