Why can't I sync the model? The syncing process leads to crashes or unresponsiveness, and the end result is a missing model or lost materials. What are the common causes of these syncing failures?

Hello. If you are experiencing issues connecting your model files to D5, please check the following situations and try the corresponding solutions:

- All model files fail to connect to D5.

  • Cause: This is most likely due to an issue with the D5 plugin or its installation.
  • Solution: Please download and reinstall the latest version of the D5 plugin.

- Only a specific model file cannot connect to D5.

  • Cause: This may be due to too heavy model size / the model file is corrupted or abnormal / some structures in the model are too complex to be supported for now.
  • Solution: Optimize the model - Reduce its size and complexity. / Try splitting the model into smaller files for syncing. / Export the model as D5A files by groups and then import these individual files into D5.
